New 950 XL W/O Continuum?

I'm about to grab a 950 XL soon, but the promotion ended to get the display dock. It's only a difference of $100 but I would use it, for special occasions.

What do others think? It's a good tool to get, or use that money for a case and micro SD?

well, you're gonna need a case, and the sd card will be usefull. Those things are sort of a necessity in my opinion so I'd get them first and then get the display dock if you find you need it or just really want one.

You can do WiFi TV casting rather than having it wired in or you can use a USBC to HDMI cable. Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse and you're all set.

Though the dock would make it easier.

You should be able to get a display dock off eBay fairly easily (new and unboxed). I'm betting that people get them because they're free and then sell them off to help offset the cost of the handset..
