[New App] Funtastic - THE app for jokes on windows phone!

Hi everyone!

I'm a new Windows Phone and Windows 8 developer around here (I introcuded myself a few days ago). I wanted to use the opportunity and present my new app to you!

The app is called Funtastic and if you're looking to laugh and read a few good jokes, this is the perfect app for you! The english speaking community is still a little small, but I'm sure it'll get there. Here are the main features:

• The best and newest jokes, for you and by you (all the content is provided by users)
• Add your own jokes within seconds
• Discuss, share and favorite jokes
• Become the king of funtastic by telling the best jokes
• Designed to fit in perfectly with windows phone design guidelines
• And for the technical audience: It uses a windows azure mobile service as the backend. ;-)

Nice idea Dev. Question for you about your app. When you share, are you talking about sending them to a central server for anyone to see, emailing them to those on your phone contacts, uploading them to Facebook, twitter..etc? Also, how is the content monitored?

All these things are possible actually. Whenever you submit a joke that is made available to everyone (in other words, submitted to the central server, azure). However as you rightly pointed out, content needs to be monitored to prevent abuse. To that end any user can report any joke or comment. If a joke or comment collects too many reports or downvotes it will automatically be removed from the system. So in theory the system should regulate itself. *crosses fingers*

In terms of sharing, yes you can share to facebook, twitter, linkedIn and send jokes via mail or sms.
