Why is MS not notifying anyone of the new firmware, what it does, and why isn't it available through windows update? I just don't want to reset my device back to older OS just to get the firmware.

Well maybe it will be soon I checked the firmware page the last couple days and more devices are having it listed as new or current listed firmware but not for my variant yet
