New firmware out today on AT&T

I noticed there was System Firmware Update today. After it rebooted, I found the following new drivers in the device manager:
Nokia System Firmware Version 1.0.1164.0 [4/7/2014]
Embedded Controller Firmware Version 3.8.776.65 [3/5/2014]
Touch Screen Firmware Version 2.0.31.0 [2/11/2014]

This was on AT&T device only.

Did anyone else get an update today?

Yes, there was an update last night. I didn't notice anything after the update. I didn't have any problems to report before the update. It was patch Tuesday so there were firmwares for the Surface and Windows 8 lineup as well.

I have a newbie question. I bought a brand new at&t 2520 off ebay and it will arrive tomorrow. I was planning on using it as a wi-fi only tablet since I have a 1520 and don't need another LTE device. If I do not put an at&t sim in the 2520 will I still get updates??

My guess is that if you have wifi - you should get OS updates. Isn't that how Surface gets theirs? and they aren't on Wireless 4G/LTE Data

I hope so. I remember once when I had a new phone I set it up on wifi like I always do and it wouldn't update because it wasn't "registered on the network" yet. When I put a sim in it, it updated. I can't remember what phone it was, I go through alot of phones. Hopefully that won't be the case, however, if I never put a sim in it I don't see how it will get updates from AT&T.
