New HP phone for 2017

So I was browsing through the news and I am seeing a bunch of articles about HP releasing a new phone for wm10 that will be more consumer focused. So what's the deal? True? Untrue? I haven't seen anything about it here on WC

I've also seen a few articles about an HP consumer grade phone. Looking forward to some confirmation. Also, not sure if I misunderstood but it sounded like the code name Redmond may be associated with either this device or something else coming directly from MS.

Makes perfect sense to me. MS saves on manufacturing costs and HP saves on R&D.

Wouldn't mind another HP phone, not sure if consumer focused is the way to go, especially considering how many consumer based Windows phones have already failed. I think a business focused but cheaper version of the Elite x3 is the way to go.

Yes, there will be new phone made by HP that focus on consumer market, and it should come by 2017/02/27 at MWC
