New Lumia

Hi WP lovers,

My plan is finishing soon, and I'm definitely getting a Lumia, but is it worth taking a L1520/L930 or should I just wait until MS comes with something more major?
I just wished they would announce a L1020 successor soon!!

Can't speak for a 1020 successor, since I don't know of one. The 1520/930's cameras are quite nice though I believe. Just not up to the practically untouchable 1020.

If you think its worth it, it is, we can't really tell you. The 1520 and 930 are the top of the line and won't become clunkers when something new comes about. If you like them, go for it.

there was a supposed new flagship, dubbed McLaren, that has been chopped AFAIK, so I'm not expecting anything amazing. Perhaps some midrangers to round out the x30 line.

but who knows, I'm not an insider, so I could be completely wrong.

From experience I love my 1520. The 1080p screen, 6" display, 32GB internal ram with SD card for up to 128GB, quad core 2.2GHZ processor, 20 megapixel camera, wireless charging (haven't got yet) decent battery. I say go for it. I dint wear jeans only baggy combats and phone fits perfectly inside my pocket and its in a case. Why wait for an "up and coming phone" after all the Maclaren got cancelled. So why wait for another phone that might not come out yet again *smile*
