New Photo Hub

Whilst loving 8.1, there are a few things that take getting used to.

One of these is the Photo hub. When clicking on the Photos app or live tile, it takes you straight to the 'All' category, whereas 8.0 would take you to "Album".

Is there any way to default the location to Album?

No at moment there isn't a way to go directly to album view :smile:

WP8 didn't really take you to album, it took you to the hub, there you could choose 'camera roll', 'album', 'people' etc.
In WP8.1 it opens all photos, but albums are just one swipe to the right away.

It's an unpopular opinion, but I actually like the new gallery. I never used 'people' and 'date', I very rarely looked at favourites as well.
I know there is no nice background but the photos themselves fill up the screen nicely.
