New Redfly drivers and HTC TouchPro screen size?

Short question I didn't see addressed:

Do the new drivers just released resolve the "Fischer-Price My First Smartphone" look the HTC Touch Pro gets out of the box on the Redfly? And in other words, eliminate the need for RealVGA?

Follow-up: Is there a near term development effort in process to address this issue? If so, what kind of timeline are we looking at?

The realvga hack works but it's a serious inconvenience being forced to reset. Plus, either the REDFLY driver or realvga is making my Diamond unstable...

I hope the solution is NOT a special REDFLY with a 1600x960 screen!
