New to WP7- Happy to become a HTC Surround Owner!

Hi, like to introduce myself to the forums-

Previously was using a Palm Pre Plus on At&T - great phone, amazing OS, and great community- but unfortunately my phone was literally falling apart and knew it was time to move on. After some research- I nailed it down to the Surround or HD7S and am happy I went with the Surround- Picked it up on the cheap off Craigslist mint condition! Great build quality and amazing speaker!

Been playing with some of the apps and getting accustomed with WP7- Xbox Live was the real selling point for me - So any tips or apps I need to look into right away please let me know! My last Windows phone was the HTC Fuze back on WM 6.5 I believe so it's been awhile. Thanks!

Welcome to the WPC were glad you decided to join us. I hope you like the OS it really going to grow on you. As for apps be sure to give the WPCentral app a try. Catch around the forums.

i will be getting an htc surround in a few days and i decided to
have a read so that i can know what im doing before hand...
i do have one question...
can i update (unofficially) my surround to the latest version of mango?
ive been looking through and searching this forum but nothing came up
regarding mango...thanks for any help
