New Type Covers?

Does anyone know if the new type covers will work with the older hardware?

Dunno. I'm waiting for the old type covers to hit clearance, then I'm picking one of them up.

I read that the new covers should work with both the RT and Pro Gen 1. The Power Cover, however, will not work with the RT.

The new Touch and Type covers will work with all Surface products, the Power Cover will only work with the Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, and Surface 2.
