Anybody got any news about next update for phones...? It seems to have gone very quiet about it....it seems tobe all about pc builds now...got 2 updates on wp10 but heard nothing for weeks now?

No news.
I think GabeAul mentioned on the Twitters that there would be no build released to Insiders last week. But no news on if/when a new build will be.

New update from Gabe. They are testing the phone build 10134 which looks good, but they are chasing a single upgrade bug at the moment.

He's a good lad. Looking at the unbelievable amount of utter crap he gets in his Twitter feed, I'm surprised he's still enthusiastic enough to have an account.

And he even tries to answer most of the questions he gets, which is impressive on its own. He is the only reliable and responsive Microsoft Source i know of.

I decided to try out the preview this past weekend. My 1520 now says it is running 10.0.12562.84. Can someone tell me is that the most current build? Been reading through different posts an am a bit confused with what I have.

Log into http://account.live.com and hit the "Devices" option at the top of the screen.

This will show you the build number on your phone. I'm not sure it's easy to see the build version on the phone, unfortunately.

Yes you have. I have the same on my 920.
Basically you "always" have the most current build for your device if "phone update" does not find an new update.

It is the most current build (also known as Build 10080 for Windows 10 Mobile).

Well in build numbers it align, but don't expect it to be as stable as the current Desktop builds. Remember that desktop is just a few weeks before RTM and phone still months.

Thanks for the reply's. I went to the link Pete posted and looking under my devices and for the 1520 it shows that 10080 build as my active build.Strange then on the phone itself it shows that 12582.

10080 is the official build number, 12582 is the os version number - those are different things - I know its confusing.

I am waiting on the next update too. 10080 sucked on a 635 (my test phone) and nearly bricked it. Hopefully the next one will be more stable. No way is anything that buggy getting on my awesome 1520!

Yea, same here on my ICON, 10080 sucked, I would just get stuck with a endless loading screen on the start menu.

Love the reference to Spaceballs, what a great flick :)

The current build is the least stable of them all. Had to get rid if that Crap on my 830 right away. Was so slow and buggy. Was unusable since it was so slow.

Hey build 1080 is unstable but I suggest you guys to try hard reset. For me people app does not open nd there is no voice guidance in maps app.

Well I rolled back to 8.1 last night after a short try. Seen things with 10 that I really like my 1520 kept stopping unresponsive and having to restart several times a day got too annoying.
