One of my Cars is a 2002 Pontiac Firebird Convertible (other is a 68 Camaro). The problem with swapping out the STOCK Radio is the steering wheel controls and I do not like trashing the dashboard of my babies. After posting here 2 weeks ago and trolling in the internet I finally found a great device.
HomeSpot NFC-enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver
Amazon.com: Buying Choices: HomeSpot NFC-enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System
It uses a USB cable for power and a 2.5mm audio jack. The device came with a male-male 2.5mm Audio cable, a 2.5 male to RCA jack cable and the micro USB and power brick.
Yes I know Nokia just announce a similar device, this one is available NOW and at HALF the price.
I will be spending my weekend, making this device invisible in my car. Note I had purchased another device years ago plugged into my Stereo that gave me the 2.5 mm input ability. I will pull that device name this weekend.
Maybe even make my first video...Let me know if you have questions.
