Nintendo and The Pokémon Company recently received two new U.S. patents related to game mechanics, such as capturing and fighting characters. These patents are similar to those being used in their Japanese lawsuit against Pocketpair over the game Palworld.

We should all file a class action lawsuit against Nintendo for sucking too much ass.

Nintendo just hates that Palworld is competing for the mon type game, but in truth.... palworld isn't really in the same class of game.

Might be time for Nintendo to learn.... not everyone is going to bend over and taking it from them.

Palworld can challenge the awarded patents and even if they fail there, the courts might simply award Nintendo a trivial remedy, say replacing the balls with something else and $1 damages. Some judges hate petty bullies.
