No app updates for over a month

Hello all,

Not sure when it started, but I'm no longer seeing app updates that I know should be there.
Its been at least a month and I know there are app updates out there.
The last update I remember getting was MPAtool (Nov 11, 2013).

I've done my homework and have googled, bing'd and checked this website for answers. I've tried all of the solutions and up dates still aren't working:

I have a AT&T Nokia 920 with all of the latest OS updates. I'm not sure of the latest Nokia updates because of the issue I'm having.

Does anyone have any other idea's on how to get the app updates working again?

I really wish there was a WP8 app that you could manually run to see if there are any updates. It would make this problem much more easy to live with...

Edit: Sorry, my math was off. Its only been three weeks, not over a month.
Still, I know the FaceBook beta has been updated twice as have several other apps.

AFAIK wp store searches for updates only during a particular time of the day. There was a thread about it too..

My lumia 520 used to show me updates every day at 6am IST...due to limited data plan i am not able to leave my 820 connected.

Same issue on my 920, tried EVERYTHING on the face of the internet before giving up and hard resetting... Was fine for a couple of weeks but is now broken once more.

Very frustrating! I wonder if taking the developer preview of GDR3 would be a quick solution, but I'm hesitant as still under warranty

1.- Open ALL of your installed apps and games
2.- Unpin Store live tile
3.- Switch date to any date DD/MM/2011
4.- Switch off and on your phone (reboot)
5.- Switch date again to today's date and time and set it to auto.
6.- Open Store and there you have all your pending updates
7.- Pin Store live tile again

no working for me... when i switch to 2011 after restart it will auto turn to 2013. im set to manual already..

I solved this leaving the phone powered up all night with the 3G turned on (but I think wifi would have worked too, if enabled when screen locked).
I simply found out that my dumbphone was checking out the updates around 6am, when it is usually in flight mode.

With the latest MS attitudes, this bug will be solved approx for 2015.
If we will be lucky, some engineers in the WP team will think outside the box and they will give us the insane option to check for updates manually. But this seems to be a taboo now, because "users don't really need it".

Just do a soft reset and be connected to your mobile network for 24 hours...worked for me

After all,we don`t get too many updates or apps for that matter,so its ok for now i suppose(looking at you,Instagram BETA).Just don`t get how they leave out features like this or separate volume controls,laughable.

I have been having app update issues on both my 1020 and 520. It is ridiculous that such a simple thing as a manual update check button was not implemented by Microsoft.

Same happened to me, I first did a soft reset and then set the date to 08/01/2011 (January 8th, DD/MM/YY)
