No Assassin's Creed game will launch in 2019

Assassin's Creed is taking another year off.
Last year, Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed Origins for Xbox One and other platforms. The game garnered stellar reviews and was seen as a revival for the series. The publisher committed to pushing out polished experiences in the franchise moving forward, so when Assassin's Creed Odyssey was announced with a 2018 release date, gamers were shocked to say the least. Many were expecting the series to take a year off.
