No contract L900

I'm not from the states, here in Panama we just got the first windows phone ever, the Lumia 800 in black, I want the 900 in cyan, but I cant find it unlocked anywhere.

If I get the L900 from ATT no contract, do I get it unlocked ?

No, it would be locked still. But you should be able to get it unlocked. Perhaps via cellunlocker.net or some such site.

The Euro version of the L900 is being released next week. Think your chances of getting an unlocked device will improve then.

seems like a reasonable advise, specially as I won't be able to use LTE any time soon

Yeah if you don't have LTE the international version is superior, as it's dual-radio, which means potential dl speeds of 42mbps instead of 21.

mmmm nice neither I would be able to use those, as the HDSPA+ here is capped to 5mbps I believe...
