No Notification Light?

I recently purchased a MIcrosoft 735 and have begun to realize that there is no blinking red notification light on the front? Am I crazy or do I have a defective device?

I do not know if you are crazy, ask a family member or your doctor, but rumor has it that the 730 has a LED. This is however not activated yet but it probably will in W10.
