No Start Menu in build 10536

This is my first foray into the Windows 10 Mobile.

I have a Lumia 930 that had 8.1 on it. I installed the build 10536 a few minutes ago.

The phone boots up fine and unlocks okay. I can reach the settings but no Start menu ever appears. Just says "Loading" or flickers and blacks out.

Fixed by changing color background. It didn't apparently like my old "custom" color.

My 920 is also flickering and basically unusable. I did manage to get to the start screen by taping on invisible next buttons on the bottom right of the screen. However, any app I open flickers and eventually crashes. Keyboard is invisible when it slides up also. I'm in the process of going back to 8.1 again.

Just curious, have you try doing a RESET after the upgrade?!

I did a soft reset via volume down + power first, then when that had no effect I went into the settings and did the reset my phone. It did a long-ish reset process but came back just as bad as before. Once I downgraded back to 8 (can't seem to find a way to downgrade directly back to 8.1) it is fine.
