No voice in earpiece while on calls, but works on speaker mode

So I recently dropped my Lumia 650 twice and post that my microphone started to act weird. Most of the time the other person would not hear my voice UNLESS I put it on speakerphone. So I got the phone serviced, paid for a new microphone and yet again I have the same issue. But, when I checked the feedback hub, there are similar issues people have which apparently has been caused by an update. And I guess they were right, because my voice is perfectly being heard on the same mic using the speaker mode, and voice recordings also work fine. So end of the story, I'm now stuck with a phone where I can only talk on speaker or headphones :/

Anyone with the same issue?
