I am getting new phone. 1320 fits my budget perfectly. But i can extend my budget (actually double it) if it is really worth it. I am just considering screen resolution (HD vs FHD). Please suggest? If it worth the double amount?

Ok. I have and use both the 1320 and the 1520. While the screen of the 1520 is visually better than the 1320, the only real difference is the camera. The 1520's camera is really good. The 1320 is just an average camera. Other than that, I enjoy both phones equally, and swap them out all the time. I do have to say that the 1320 feels better in my hands due to its design. Good luck on your choice.

Thanks for a quick reply. I am not a camera guy. I only want to know about the display. do you think that there is huge difference between the display clarity and crispness to warrant the double price? THanks.

I don't think there is that big of a difference. I like the 1520's display because it is very rich in color. The 1320's display, while not as rich in tone, is very bright and vibrant. I really like its brightness. Let me turn on my computer and I'll attach a photo of the two of them side by side. They are both really good phones. And the 1320's camera, while not as good as the 1520's camera, is not horrible.

1520......9 out of 10 or better for overall display. Brightness is about an 8 out of 10.

1320....8 out of 10 for overall display. Brightness is a 10 out of 10.

But these are just my opinions. Let me get those pictures.

Ok...here is that comparison picture I was telling you about. The 1320 is on the left and the 1520 is on the right. Hopefully this will help you.

And here is a look at the Glance Screen of each...1320 on the left. You can really see the brightness of the 1320 here. Keep in mind that these phones were set up identically as far as screen brightness, battery saver, etc were concerned.

@ Scienceguy, did you already figured it out with your screen?

@ OP
If it is not for the camera, wel i would go for the 1320
Because the race between HD, FulHD, DfHD and XCHD is al about numbers.
You must have very keen eyes if you notice any difference.
For the pricedifference between the 1520 and the 1320 you can buy nice camera's with more options.
I believe the camera, better cpu and the screen does not justify the extra money.

If i had a lot of money to spend then oke, i would go for it.
Because its a great phablet with great specs and looks.

@SSgt

Yep. I need to go update that post. The two 1520's on display in my local AT&T store had the exact same screen resolution, brightness, etc as mine. So, I guess all is how it is supposed to be. I have to admit though, I like the bright 1320 screen a lot. It's really nice for my needs. The only issues I can see most people having with the 1320 are the average camera and the 8 Gb storage on board...which will not be an issue after WP8.1. And the camera isn't all that bad.

I appreciate your help. Thanks

Anytime :-)
I have the screensettings at his darkest, and stil its bright.
I would like to find a way to dim it even more.
So the offer is stil open hahaha

Thanks a ton for the help guys. Much appreciated. I already place an order for nokia 1320, much excited about it, thanks :)

@SSgt: I picked up the black one, hope its not too dull :(, i only had option between white and black. I guess i can swap the cases afterwards with original nokia accessories.

@ shloime About two two and a half day.
@tejinder, i also have the black cover and use a flipcover so i dont see much of it.

Received it today. Loving it so far. One question. Its says on the battery that its made in china. I wonder that if all handsets are manufactured in China or some are made in Finland too? Thanks again for the suggestion guys.

Nope, all factorys disapeared to the east due labor cost.

Kind of overwhelming isn it?
But you get used to it.
