Nokia 620 or the Nokia 720

odd they would do a jump from 3.8 inches to 4.7 inch on a low-end phone.

I hope another 600 series comes out which maybe a 4 inch screen, less bezel and maybe an 1800mah battery and 1 gm of ram. For $250 :o, that would be sweet.

The 720 is simply better. Camera, screen viewing angle, build quality.
The 720 will also receive FM Radio feature with the Lumia Amber update.

Where I live, the 720 is just PhP 3000 more than the 620. In other words, ~$70.
Also, I'm stuck with my old phone because I absolutely need FM Radio, and it appears the 620 isn't going to support it. Also, the battery life isn't good anyway.

After weighting up my options I got the Nokia 720 (Wireless Edition) which includes the Wireless charging shell and wireless charger for not that much. So far really impressed and glad I made the move towards the Nokia 720.

I would definitely recommend you to get the Lumia 720. You will get bigger battery, Carl Zeiss lens camera and it's slimmer and sexier than the Lumia 620. Furthermore, it has a wireless charging support but you'll need an extra case for it. What's inside is almost the same as the 620. But for all that, comes the price difference. The Lumia 720 is pricier than the Lumia 620 by quite a margine, at least here in Malaysia. But you'll get more satisfaction with the 720 I can guarantee you c:

My 720 arrived today, I just powerd it on and let it charge, still have to check it out, but from what I have seen untill now: its amaaaaazing! everything, the screen, the responses, damn, i just love the color too!
Will install some stuff tonight or tomorrow, because I'm really busy for school right now. I suppose charging it full and letting it decharge completely the first 2 times is a good thing to do? I did notice fingers on the screen, which is logical. I ordered a screen protector and casing for on the back!
A very happy person here, will review it in a week!

Having some real issues here with the 720.

First of all, i had to reset it 8 times today. Blocking when i looked at the battery app, when i wanted to change music, when i wanted to upload a pic and so on. When i want to install the ATP tennis app it doesn't install it under apps but under games.
Do i have a faulty phone or what. The times it works its good, but i hate it when it blocks (so much!)

And again 2 times reset since i made this post. Should i go to a care centre? -_-

This is not a general 720 issue - mine has been stable and working fine since I got it about a month ago. Why don't you try doing a hard reset before going any further (Settings > About > Reset my phone). This will reload the OS and wipe all settings, allowing you to start fresh. It's possible something was corrupted in the initial setup the first time around.

If you've installed an SD card, take it out and try running the phone without it to see if it runs without crashing. A faulty SD card can make the phone unstable.

Also, turn the phone off, remove the SIM and reinsert it. An improperly seated SIM can also cause instability.

And one final thing, when you first set up and play with the phone make sure you either have a the phone connected to wifi (the preferred option) or have a very good 3G signal. When you first use the phone and some apps there's a lot of 'phoning home' to check for updates in the Store. I found that if the data connection wasn't good or stable, the phone could hang and give some strange problems. This happened for the first few hours I was playing with my phone - I was doing this at work with no wifi and a flaky 3G signal. Initially I thought the phone was faulty, but when I got home and connected to my home wifi network, all updates downloaded and installed and the phone and apps behaved themselves from then on.

If none of these fix the issue you may well need to go through Nokia Care.

EDIT: Seeing as you've bought the 720, it might be best to raise these sorts of issues in future in the dedicated 720 forum - this forum is for the 620.

Yes I accidently posted in the wrong forum, anyways, thanks for the tips. Did a hard reset and it has become much less, I will see how it goes today!

I Bought Lumia 720 although in Argentina starts selling Lumia 620 in a week.

- BEAUTIFULLLLL Design
- Better Camera (Carl Zeiss)
- Better Battery
- Gorilla Glass 2

It has some cons, but i will tell you only the pros hahahahahjajjajaja

My Nokia Lumia 720 fell down from 2 feet high, the screen is completely shattered and They are asking 50% of the mobile cost to replace it.. You can go for any other brand otherwise if you are interested nokia, Please make sure that you use it carefully or be ready 50% of the mobile cost in hand.

Trying out a 620 now (yellow!) and I love it! Buuuuut the battery :( The camera was what was tempting me about the 720 before, but the size and the price of the 620 won me over. After a full day of use, I definitely am noticing the small battery, though :/

How *huge* (and heavy) does the 720 feel? The 920 was too big and heavy in my hands (maybe that's why I dropped it and shattered the screen). The 620 is much more grippable but I could settle on a screen that was slightly, but not much bigger.

Also thinking I could just hang on to the 620 and see what develops in the fall in terms of new phones.
