Hi all, first post. Be gentle.
I purchased a Nokia 521 from Metro PCS as a burner phone (direct) a few months ago and liked it much more than I thought I would, so I went looking for a beefier upgrade but Metro PCS only offers the 521.
I bought what I thought was an unlocked 920 from amazon and it doesn't read my sim. The employees at Metro PCS weren't very helpful and weren't able to get it to work, but confirmed that the sim isn't damaged as it still works fine on my 521. They also checked the 'black list' and found that the phone is fine. It shows as "ATT Unlocked" according to them.
I could return the phone to Amazon, sure, but that will take a few weeks to process and I've got the 920 in hand now. What should I try?
Thank you so much for any help in advance.
