Nokia black - bad data connection?

It appears after updating to black I've had a bit of trouble with data connections. I figured it was just the area I was in but I can confirm that no matter where I am data seems a bit slower. Also, Xbox music doesn't seem to be able to stream music anymore. I can play the songs that are stored on my phone but I can't play anything over the network.
I know at least one other person is having issues synching their email account, is anyone else having data connection issues with the black update??
