Nokia. Drive is terrible!!!

It's a terrible, terrible app. By the way, it's irrelevant that Garmin and Drive use the same mapping data. The software used to determine routes on Nokia Drive and Maps is totally flawed. I have not heard one good thing about maps from any of the actual live bodies I have spoken to about this. That said, I assume that the supportive comments on this board have to be ****** comments because the apps are neither good or accurate.

Gotta love blanket statements like this. If this were true: "The software used to determine routes on Nokia Drive and Maps is totally flawed." then how are so many people having great experiences with it?

The truth is YOU are having a bad experience with it, which is NOT normal.

Personally I really like Nokia Drive, it has been spot on accurate for me (western washington).

Better just toss the phone in the ****in garbage then. Completely useless because a free app doesn't work well for you....

Speak for yourself chief. In Canada, Bing maps is missing large areas of sub divisions and small towns. Nokia has these. When I was in Italy in the summer, Bing and Google had far less data than Nokia's did. I would have been totally ****ed in Florence without Nokia Maps and Drive.

That said, the apps themselves function fine. Same as the bing and google apps. The data is just different and you are whiny.

And with that - Closed
