Nokia floating lens comparison video.

Sure. I'm willing to bet that HTC will sell more 8Xes on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon than Nokia sells 920s on AT&T alone. Willing to take that bet?

What the ****. I'm not even contesting that HTC will out sell Nokia. I'm talking about your attitude that Nokia is executing poorly. Until Nokia moves downward after X-mas, it won't be conclusive to say that Nokia's totally under piss poor management.

Unless I misunderstood your reference of "ability to execute."

The low-light shooting is also good for spontaneous family pictures. Not always in a well-lit room, and a flash can ruin the effect.

The OIS is breathtaking. That RC car video is just amazing.

totally agree. every time when I try to take some pictures of my daughter either at a birthday party with only candle lights or halloween
party with pumpkin lamp, I curse my iphone badly...

Wow, very impressive. :)

I took that bet with Big sups. I'm thinking of making a banner of Superman getting caught into Tails's plane engine and a super tacky WINTERFANG WAS RIGHT glitter flashing letters bellow for him to use if I win XD.

Just don't put too much effort into it. It'll be a shame to see it go to waste. ;) :P

Wow. All 3 of those videos are really impressive for the 920, especially against an S3, which is certainly pretty good on its own.

Both those photos in the dark are stunning compared to my HD7.

Lumia it is for me gentlemen.
Just yesterday, I had TWO of my SUUPER-HARD-CORE Apple ****** friends, say something that shocked me out of my wits!

"Im Buying LUMIA920"

I was like..."WHAAA...??"

Lumia it is for me too.

That seems an arbitrary line. I'm more about "what's happening now" versus hoping things get better later.

Though if the reports of the 920 coming to Verizon as well as AT&T are true, and they get it out in November, they have a better chance than I'd have expected previously.

I'm more confused by your contention that Nokia is executing perfectly. The OIS fake ad scandal, lack of pricing/availability, and poor financials all show a company that's in utter chaos.

Wow. You're really going out on a limb there. You daredevil, you.

:D Precisely my point.

If Nokia goes with a single-carrier exclusive, they're not going to be a significant volume player in the USA.

Considering the company's dismal financials, giving up sales volume to the competition isn't a good idea. Fortunately, if the Verizon rumor is accurate, that will be a shot in the arm.

WTF???

The utter chaos was pre-WP Nokia. Everything since has been Microsoft's fault.

The WP gamble was starting to pay off with the 800 & 900. Then Microsoft went and dropped the WP7 non-upgrade bomb, completely knackering Nokia again. If WP7 devices could update to WP8, Nokia would still be selling WP7 devices by the ship load.

Fake OIS video was a fk up, but all demos are smoke & mirrors. Just look at the Microsoft surface fail. Not the first or last company that will mess up a press conference.

Microsoft were yet again at fault for the pricing/availability. Samsung & HTC suffered the same fate.

Personally i'd agree that Nokia are executing perfectly to plan, or would be if Microsoft stopped tripping them up.

That said, theres been enough conspiracy theories around the internet about Microsoft and Nokia.

I don't know about Nokia executing well or not, but I do know the 920 is just as nice as the HTC 8X. If both come to Verizon (fingers crossed) I most likely will have a red or yellow 920.

Is that a real phone or some engineering prototype? That picture looks damn amazing. If what they are showcasing is what they will actually deliver in the released 920, I tip my hat to them.

The Lumia 920 is going to sell itself in the shops. Even the slack sales reps aren't going to be able to ignore it.

I'm going to quit my job, get a job at AT&T, and just drive an RC car around the store all day long. I'll be a blast and the sales commissions on Lumia 920s will be mind-blowing.
