1320 has dual core, 830 has a quad core processor, go for 830. Even I have 1320, but I'll look for a 1320 successor, not 830. But as you have already used 1320, go for 830, its a lot better

I'm definitely going for the Lumia 830, It has a Pureview camera with OIS and even a wider aperture at 2.2 (vs 2.4 on the Lumia 1320),
It has a more compact screen size with a thinner body and 70g less weight and because its kind of squared on the edges I'm hoping it can stand on its side (to make hands free photos possible)

Although they have the same resolution he Lumia 830 has a better PPI so the clarity will be better, and while the Lumia 1320 is clocked at a higher 1.7ghz processing speed its actually running on a 3 years old chipset that is not on bar with the battery friendly 1.2ghz Snapdragon 400
Also the Lumia 830 supports Qi wireless charging which is a no go for the Lumia 1320 speaking of charging the Lumia 830 also has a replaceable battery a major selling point.
Another area the Lumia 830 shines is in the weight department with a 70 grams less than the 1320 (150g vs 220g
Lumia 830 has a higher internal memory with 16gb vs 8gb on the Lumia 1320

Basically the only thing the Lumia 1320 will be good at will be the battery life.
I hope that helped. :D

Thanks for your inputs.
Is 830 suitable device for gaming and office software ? because i choose 1320 because I am MBA student and i carry all of my ebooks and word and pdf files on it.
Last night I attended in Nokia dealer but I could not pay for 1320 again , I prefer to have some thing new.

Yes the same as your 1320 did. 830 has that 1gb ram, a better camera, better dimensions. I think 5" screen is good enough.

You can buy a L1520 in Spain for 379?.. So why not considering it as it's the most powerful and has a good battery life ? I guess L830 will be a bit more expensive when it'll be released..

L1520 is my favorite device , but that is still expensive in Malaysia , if I do not mistake it is around 470 to 500 Euro in Malaysia (1800 MYR) , on the other hand we are waiting for L820 for 1250 MYR (let say 1 Euro = 4 MYR) so it will be around 300 Euro. I am international student here and I have limited budget , I always interested in L 1520 and recently L930. both of them are out of my budget.

Yes, there is a lot of price gap between 830 & 1520. You should buy a phone that doesn't break the bank. Go for 830, if it fits perfectly in your budget

I'm actually going to sell my 1520 in favor of an 830. There's more to consider than just processor, in my opinion. Of course, if you didn't mind how enormous the 1320 is, that means you won't mind the 1520's size either. But to answer your question, I agree with the advice above... 830 > 1320.

I meet N.L.830 today , that is really nice and it has similar design with N.L.930 (Icon). But Nokia dealers label it as coming soon. The price is 1400 MYR ( 440$) on the other hand Nokia dealer reduce N.L 1320 price to 800 MYR for cash payment. Is Cortana available for 1320 ?

Dear all
What is your idea about N.L.735, I feel more price sensitive today :) , in a glimpse 735 has better front and rear camera in compare to 1320 and weaker rear camera rather than 830 , any body has a suggestion ? ( both of them are available from 3 Oct (today) in Malaysia)

Hi
I purchased my N.L.830 last month, I have to mention N.L.830 battery life is horrible in comparison to N.L.1320. I did my best to behave similarly with them, but honestly I played games with my 1320 some times but recently I could not find interesting game for my 830 and I did not waste any power for playing games. On the other hand , accessories of N.L.830 are not available in Malaysia and Nokia dealers treat rudely with customers when you ask them " when do you provide cases or other accessories ? " . Regarding to my case, I have to mention N.L.1320 was better device for me indeed. If camera is not important for you or if size of 1320 is not an issue for you do not waste your money for N.L.830.
