Nokia Lumia 1520 best cases for drops? *cracked screen*

Hello there,

My Nokia Lumia 1520 just cracked. It hit the left side screen first onto the side walk and I heard the sound of cracking glass. When I picked it up, I knew that the screen was cracked, which when I looked, definitely was. The crack stretches out across the screen and onto the front facing camera.

I am a person that never likes to put cases on his phones. I simply enjoy the beauty of the phone itself. This is the first smartphone I have broken in all my years of owning a smartphone. Just bad luck, I guess.

Now I'm looking for good cases that are very worth it. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am currently looking at this: Rugged Heavy Duty Durable Dual Layer Case for Nokia Lumia 1520 Drop Proof | eBay

Sucks to have a broken screen. I'm sending it to the 3rd party Repair Center for fix, what Nokia recommends. Costs $249

Otterbox cases are always highly recommended, no matter the device.

I just ordered my phone today along with a TPU case to have when I first receive the phone. After reading numerous post about cracked screens after dropping it only once I'm not going to risk it. I'll order another more heavy duty case once I'm sure the unit is a keeper. I found one on Amazon that reminds me of the casemate tough case I had for my Galaxy S2, that was the best case I've owned.
