Nokia Lumia 510--any drawbacks to 256MB RAM?

My friend wants the cheapest phone possible, max she will spend is ?60. I have found a Nokia Lumia 510 for ?60 but what is the limitations of it having 256 RAM? I guess she just wants it for normal use of whatsapp, facebook, calling, text etc...

I'd say that the biggest drawback is not necessarily the small amount of RAM but the fact that this is an old WP7.5 device. It would be much better to get the Nokia Lumia 520, which runs Windows Phone 8. The 7.x devices are not getting many of the new apps, since they are being phased out for the new WP8 devices. I'm only using a 7.8 device, since I have a contract; once I'm eligible to upgrade, I will.

take it to a nokia priority and they can upgrade it for you for free or if you wish to you can update it yourself using NCS
