Yeah bro! Update was downloaded overnight and morning I found the notification

One more strange thing has occurred. My config id before the update was 146943. Now its 249100. Don't know whether it changed after updating to .0002 or to amber. And yeah its official amber update.

I had to update the firmware because the NSU was showing that .0002 is available. I did it and got amber OTA.

Bro what said is correct. My friends phone is update to 1030.6407.1308.0002. I just checked now there is an amber update. But my phone is .0001.

so is it safe to assume that anyone with 1030.6407.1308.0001 has to flash the phone to 1030.6407.1308.0002 to get an update and let go all the data, and also need a computer do so.

Just i want to know why we need to flash it manually or NSU. If our device is having 1030.6407.1308.0001 and if the latest software prior to Amber was 1030.6407.1308.0002 , why we didnot got any OTA notification to upgrade it from .0001 to .0002 when the .0002 version was released ?

I have confirmed with nokia and they said that the update for 620 will come in two batches first for 002 and before the end of this month to 001, so unless ur so impatient and really want it right now u should wait and the 001 ota will be available in a week or two.

Man, this is crazy, Nokia says Lumia Amber will be available to ALL phones by end of September, & its already released to L620. so why the discrimination for 001 & 002 firmware, release for both, what wrong have we done by buying the device as soon as it was released??? Release for all then!!!At once...
