Nokia Lumia 635

[WPCentral Question]

My wife has just received her new Nokia Lumia 635. I have tried to transfer her contacts and SMS messages from her old Nokia Lumia 610 to the Lumia 635. The contacts transferred OK, but only approximately half of the SMS messages transferred over to the Lumia 635. For some strange reason, the SMS messages dated prior to 22 May 2014 did not transfer over to the Lumia 635.
Not sure if this is a date issue or perhaps memory, surely the memory available in the 635 exceeds thew 610!
The SMS/Contacts transfer was made via Bluetooth.

Any assistance would appreciated.

I would think it could sync messages via the account, but I dont know about WP7.

Check her messages, make sure its set to sync any time.

The only thing related is in the Settings / Backup/ SMS. Download messages for last <period>. Try longer?
