Here are 3 videos, all using the EXACT same phone (not just the same color, version, etc, it's literally the EXACT same phone used in all tests), that test the durability of the Nokia Lumia 920.

This makes me even more happy for my purchase (red lumia 920 and yellow lumia 920).

Video 1: Drop test

Video 2: Knife, keys, and hammer test.

Video 3: Do whatever it takes to destroy the phone.

can't watch these on my 920 ???

That's odd, I can watch them using my 920. When I touch the video in the forum (using the phone) it opens up youtube mobile site to play the video. Works just fine.

rad!

he should have tested throwing it at an AT&T store...

That's a funny idea, more funny if they did it in front of a line of customers waiting to buy the lumia 920. I saw something like that on youtube back when the Xbox 360 was released.

o god, I hate dropping my phones and just watching these videos hurts my soul. But that was pretty damn durable haha!

Looks like a case might be a good idea. You never know when someone might swing at your phone with a 2x4.

There are probably already drop tests done on iphone 5... Try searching in youtube

Same as video 2, but done on an iphone 5

The thing that sucks about that video is the phone already has a cracked screen from the previous drop test. I suppose on one side this means the iPhone 5 is already less durable, but on the other side this means we can't get a fair comparison when it comes to the scratch/knife test (since the screen is already cracked).

i swear i thought he was going to miss the phone with the 2 by 4 a couple of times haha. That dude hit it out of the park! lol

I don't know about destroying one, but I know how to make it unusable: 4-5 hours connected to WiFi.
