Icon has a motion sensor as well. The Lumia Icon is a Lumia 930 with a CDMA radio in it. There is no difference between them in the same way the iPhone 5s on Verizon and the iPhone 5s on AT&T are the same. Nokia wasn't ready to launch the "930" globally (or, most likely they were but held off for WP 8.1 while Verizon wanted a new high end Lumia to fend off AT&T), so they called it the 929 then Icon and called it a day.The only difference between the spec's on the 930 and the Icon/929 is the 930 has the motion sensor. I switched to Verizon so I could get an Icon. The 930 will not be available in the US. I do love the Icon! I previously had the 920.
The most interesting aspect of all of this is, how did Verizon manage to get the global variant. It's not something they do
