Nokia Software Recovery Installation Failure

Hello All:

I'm using a L520 on AT&T in the U.S. with the dev. prev. 8.1. And hey, Cyan is now available (hooray!), so I fire up the Nokia Software Recovery program, plug in the phone, and let it download the software to be installed. After the download, it begins to install the software. After a minute or two into that process I get a "Software Installation Failed" with error code 0x80131500. Tried it again, same result.

The good news is, the phone still works. However, I'm not sure what to do at this point. Am I correct that I have revert to 8.0 to get Cyan?

Yes you will have to revert back to 8.0 to get it atleast for now as the bitlocker fix is not available yet.
