NOKIA Software Recovery Tool PROBLEM!

Hello!

I have numerous problems with WP 8.1 so i wanted to downgrade back to 8.0 (I have a Lumia 1520)
I installed the Nokia Software Recovery Tool 1.3.1 and connected my phone.
After recognizing my phone it stopped and displayed the following message:
"Software package not available for this phone"

WTF? Can pls someone help me! I can t find annything about my problem with google.....

Wich one is the rm number of your Phone? Have you tried with Nokia care suite?

I had the same issue. Use the Nokia Software Updater for Retail instead. Download the software, open it, and then connect your phone.

I downloaded the Nokia Software Updater for Retail...... the program sais: " Update package was not found on srver "

I think that maybe NSUFR don't have yet any of lumia 1520 roms. Maybe if you could get some rm 937 rom and flash it with Nokia care suite instead?

I had problems with one of the Nokia firmware tools that I found on the internet… I think I used the software detailed here FAQ - FAQ - How can I recover/reset/restore my phone software? - Nokia - UK and it did it… the one I used first time round came up with an error similar to yours. Worth a try at least (from what I can see it's largely the same kinda program)

I think there's Software Updater and Software Recovery tool… This is the recovery tool. The software updater was the one that didn't work for me.

Hi, i have big battery drain with WP8.1 final, i want to downgrade to WP8.0 but i have a problem too with my lumia 520 : when the file is downloaded, Nokia software updater for retail (last version) and Nokia software recevery tools (last version too...) say :

3058.50000.1425.005 (RM-914) is corrupted, please download again.

I do it 10x...nothing to do...

Any idea , thx a lot !

I have tried this tool so many times and getting the same error "There is problem connecting to the service. Please check your firewall and virus protection settings and trying again". It shows up after downloading 500MB of data. Each time am getting this issue exactly at this point.

I had the same issue with Lumia 820.

The problem is with the firewall. The firewall does not allow the program to search for the OS on Nokia's servers. Disable it for the the recovery tool and you should be sorted.

After it finished downloading till 100%, it restarts the download again. I was like, what the ****? Need to wait 1 more hour to download?
