So, I had Preview For Developers. I wanted to install Cyan, so I tried to use Nokia Software Updater for Retail.

The process started, a red nokia screen came up with an empty progress bar. On the Nokia Software, the process was at 1%.
Suddenly, the software said it failed. The phone was still red. Then an window showed the option to try to recover the process. I said yes.
The phone went black and nothing happened.
Now the software doesn't detect the phone. I tried pushing the "My phone does not start up or respond" but its not working either.
When I push vol down and power, I hear the Windows USB sound, but the phone is not vibrating anymore...

Is it dead?

:crying:

I've downgraded from the Developer Preview version of WP8.1.1 to the consumer release version of WP8.1 with Lumia Cyan using the Nokia Software Recovery Tool without problems.

Give it a try. If it doesn't work, then you might need to take it to Nokia Care.

Use the laptop and then go to find my phone and delete from there

Hum. Does that work even with the phone off?

That was what I was trying. :S

Did you try to press vol down+power+camera button together to reset your phone?

No. I tried vol down + power. :S

I already took it to my operator support service. They will tell me something within 5 days.
Thank you for your answers.

If you have a spare battery then try to use it with the current one, once I had the same issue with L620 for a week it was dead , I tried with another L620 ( my friends) by exchanging the batteries which did the trick.

Not sure whether it helps but give it a try.
