Nokia sold 8.2 million Lumias

I just saw a guy with a bright red Lumia - I'm sorry but it's just embarrassing, like a middle aged manager who gets an earring to try to look young again. Yes, I know other colours are supposed to be available, but they are not in my town.

Samsung just posted their Quarter 4/2013 results and their profit is down 18% from what it was last year. It seems quite a few smartphone makers did not have a good Quarter 4. Makes the Windows Phone thing seem not so bad after all. They also posted that they expect the first half of 2014 to be off from last year. Makes ya wonder.

Apple had record sales. Basically, Apple started eating Samsung's lunch this holiday season somehow.
