Nokia Wireless Charging Stand fail

Got it working, when the setup app launches, it will take about 2-4minutes to register the stand and after that it will allow the user to select the app

So, can someone tell me more about this clock thing? If I use NFC to start the clock app, it will display the time continuously? Is it possible to also have it automatically set to vibrate mode?

Mine also fails to get through set up. Hope they fix this, although I have to admit it's not the reason I bought it.

It took a minute or two, but eventually I was able to pair an app to the NFC target. I love the stand. The likely reason it is white is it costs a lot of money to make tools in multiple colors - why waste cost on something that sits at the wall?

You don't have different tools for different colours. One tool can be made to be any colour, the material injected into the tool is the part that is coloured.

I would suggest the reason they have a white housing with a black cable would be one of two reasons.

1. They ran out of black housings
2. It might be a production batch that was made wrong and they kept them because of lead times to get fresh batches made.

It does seem a strange thing to keep a White housing with a black cable. BUT, a third possibility is, that's how they intended it to be. although as I said, it is strange.
