Nokia WIreless Charging STAND - HTC 8x

I know that the Verizon 8X will charge on the Nokia plate and JBL powerup speakers. I confirmed this for myself in a Verizon store. However, I was wondering if anyone had the chance to try it with the Nokia Stand?? The plate is rather easy because you can adjust the 8x to lay exactly where it needs to be to activate the charge. But with the stand I figure that the "verticalness" would require the alignment to be exact and not properly lineup the area of contact.

The 8X is just a wee bit taller than the 920. I'm sure it would work just as flawless.
