I ended up picking up the Nokia wireless charging stand. It was in the AT&T store and they were taking so long helping me replace a bricked phone that they offered me a nice discount on it.

I'm glad I got it. Although my flat plate is still shipping to arrive sometime, this stand is perfect for my work desk.

The only downside is that the wall-brick is rather large and covers more than just 1 socket on a powerstrip, a bit of a waste of space. It's power output isn't very close to USB standard, so I doubt you can adapt it to use the plethora of USB power bricks that likely clutter your home already.

They should have made it USB powered, but I am guessing they might have been worried about people trying to use in on low power USB ports.

Do you plan on using the function that allows the stand to simultaneously/automatically open an app?

If so, what?
