None of the Windows 10 applications recognize my internet connection, why?

none of the window10 applications recognize my internet connection

after upgrading from W7 to W10, no W10 application such as "edge", mail, etc. where as there is no problem connecting to internet as windows updates are done automatically and IE9 and google chrome connect to internet without any problems!!
