Last night I was perusing the Marketplace on my wife's Lumia 710. Just scrolling through the apps I saw lots and lots of Chinese apps. They're written in Chinese and there's no English to be found. Is this normal? Should I see apps written for language other than English?

As developers, we have the option to publish our apps in whichever countries we like, even if they don't have translations for those countries.

Ah ha! So it is normal to have Chinese (or whatever) apps in my Marketplace after all.

Yes there'a a few in the UK Marketplace too speedtouch.

Worth installing just to see the globe in the app jumplist light up.

Globe in the app jumplist? What's that?

Is there any way to restrict what I see to only English language apps?

The alphabetical jump tiles that appear in your app list if you have 45+ apps installed speedtouch.

Always a popular question, what's the globe for ?

(Non native language apps) :)

Ok, I don't have nearly that many yet. Heh. So can I restrict my Marketplace to show only English apps?
