Not too happy with screen brightness L525!

Hi friends,
I have a L525 and its brightness quotient does not seem to impress me. Brightness level is currently set to High, yet its not up to the mark!
I had L510 and the same 'High' level settings for brightness used to turn the screen much brighter as compared to L525.
Any tips/tricks to increase the brightness?

Other than leaving it at High, I don't think you can do much else.

Sunlight Readability might be something to make sure is on if that's part of your concern.

But other than that, the only thing that comes to mind is making the surrounding environment darker. (I'm half-joking of course)
