Notification center in landscape mode

When in landscape mode, you can pull out the notification center, however it is in the same place as it is in portrait mode. This means that when in landscape, you have to swipe from the left to right and the center pops up. What's even worse is that the notifications are not turned 90 degrees, they are sitting there as they would in portrait mode, which means you have to tilt your head to get a good look at which notifications you've had.

Can anyone confirm that this will be changed (and in what way) in the final release?
