Have you tried this? It works well on the sites I frequent and no adblocker plugin is necessary.

I just tried it and it still doesn't block ads on Youtube videos, which Adblock Plus on Firefox does. I've already looked up how to do it in IE9 and there's no good way to do so.

Ah, that's cool. As we don't get a lot of the US ads, I presumed Microsoft had different agencies for US and Europe.
