OEM Hardware Looking alike in Design will be bad for WP8

Hi,

First thread here, anyway in light of HTC also having a YELLOW phone(offcourse this is not the only factor) Do you guys think it would be bad for WP8 OS if all WP8 hardware would start to look alike?

Honestly I think people are just not use to colorful device... maybe I'm the only one but I can clearly see the difference between the lumia 920 and X8.

I think the similarities won't be harmful to WP8, but it wouldn't hurt for each OEM to uniquely put out a product because it means better aesthetic choices for consumers.

For a very long time in the mobile landscape, phones has been looking similar across all platforms, so no, it would not hurt any particular OSes

Yeah, I don't think the 2 look similar at all besides maybe the colors. And the colors aren't even the same either.

In the smartphone era, all phones was starting to look alike in their black/white boxes anyway. The fact that the WP8 phones have striking colours is interesting.

Besides, most people place them in a case anyway.

No. Let windows establish themselves as the os to have colorful devices, so consumers can be able to quickly distinguish it from the rest
