Any document of any application that I launch seems to stop loading at startup screen. The dots running across the bottom of screen seem to be loading but then stop during mid-launch. But it seems if I launch the main application file it does load up and start and the then I proceed to open document file from there. Can anyone help me figure out how I can just get the direct document I want to launch instead of going through the main application? Btw all this starred when I upgraded my Windows 10 to Creator upgrade because it worked fine before.

Have you tried the Office Repair function (Programs & Features / Change / Quick or Online repair)?
Failing that, uninstall/reinstall.
The same thing happened to me at one point and I don't remember how I fixed it, but it was probably using the above.
