Official Lumia 920 GDR2/Amber Update Thread

My Phone shows OS version 8.0.10328.78, however I don't have a lot of the features. For example, when I go to "Display", I can't set up the double tap or the screen clock.
Lumia 920. Please help.

I got a L920 today and seem to have updated to GDR2 but I didn't get the Amber update along with it. Any idea what's going on?

EDIT: I'm dumb, didn't know extras+info was an app, but I wasn't seeing any updates on the store.

I have a weird issue with my 920. I received update 8.0.10328.78 (AT&T - US) yesterday and now I can no longer hold down my camera button and have the camera app come on when my phone is off. It's my favorite feature! Now I have to turn on the phone, swipe out of the lock screen and then hold the button to get the app to work.

Anyone else having this issue?

Try the following modernfx, to see if this gets it working again...

Go into Settings, then swipe across so you are in the 'applications' menu
Scroll down to 'photos+camera' and tap on it
Make sure "Press and hold camera button to wake up the phone" is ticked, it should be at the top of this list.

I gotta say... After reading this forum I found myself a little "happy"....

I'll explain. I have a iPhone 4S and want to get a better phone to take pictures. On comparison at YouTube, the Lumia 1020 looks much better than iPhone 5S. Ok, ordered the Lumia 1020.... So happy.... Untill take first pictures.

I thought mine 1020 was damaged. The pictures looks great before processing. After that, terrible. Poor focus and kind of green/yellow filter...

So, now I realized that it is the Amber update that made this problem. Ok. That's why I said I was happy. It is not a phone problem, but an update.
I hope Nokia/Microsoft have plans to solve it. Really hope. Spent a lot money and in really expect great pictures.

BTW... Before updating, could you do this kind of pictures in low light, as shown in the video? I can't with mine 1020..... Is this video true? Could you guys do that...?

yes, 920 can do it, see my photos. just change scene in photo setting from default to night. if 920 can do, I believe 1020 can do much better.

I'm from Pakistan.I bought Lumia 920 from abroad.last days I got an update,which updated mobile,s is version to 8.0.10328.75 and Firmware revision number to 3047.0000.1326.2002.
I've noticed glance screen but not in the settings,radio is also available.but all other updates mentioned in gdr2 are not updated.i'm a bit confused whether gdr2 is available in Pakistan or not.or this is the only update available in the country for Lumia 920.what should I do to get the latest update if this is not the latest.

One of my friend bought Lumia 920 on flipkart.com (India). It didnt come with Amber update and when I try to check the update, it says phone has the latest software. Any idea why?

Amber update also consists of some apps. Once check if your friend got any updates in the store.

We can see Nokia apps (Like Nokia Camera) but giving us error while trying to install. Error is Microsoft store is not available right now.

So my Lumia 920 used to have the block calls/sms filter but now everytime I try to open it, it won't work and tells me to restart the phone or try again later. I've turned it off and tried again later and nothing has happened. Can someone help please? I have the amber update as well.
