Old email showing up in app studio site.

Not sure if this is the right spot to make this thread, but I'm hoping someone here has some ideas.

I logged into the app studio site and on the top right it has one of my old old email addresses that I may have used for Xbox live 6+ years ago. I'm using a different email alias now and have been for quite some time.

Why is it that I sign up and sign in using my current MS account info, but a very old email pops up in the site? Thanks for any help.

Does that old email address still appear as an alias in your Microsoft account, or have you deleted that alias?

Nope, not on my list of aliases. Just went through all my account settings and the email address is nowhere to be found from what I can see.

That's really weird. I don't have any other ideas. Perhaps you could contact Microsoft support and ask them.

I had considered that but the last time I had to contact MS support, it was less than pleasant. Might be easier to ignore it since it doesn't hinder me getting updates, I just worry it may be related to a possible bigger issue.

Maybe I will call tomorrow after all...

Did you call Microsoft?

I have the same problem; the app studio used my old alias (in this case it's still active).. although it doesn't matter that much for me.
