Omnia W: Just got a new firmware notice

Hi!

Does anyone know what todays update brings to the Omnia W? There was no info in Zune :O

I see no update. I checked on both my phone and on Zune software.. Perhaps its an old update you never got until now?

2424.12.09.1 is higher firmware version than what I have on my focus flash. that was rolled out a few months ago..which was version 2103.12.05.4

So my question who is your carrier and what country do you live in?

I plugged into Zune and no updates here..

Odd, its a higher version than mine too..
I'm at 2103.12.05.4 as well.

omnia w's firmware versions are different to focus flash people. dont confuse the 2.

And has your battery life improved?

I live in Norway, and my carrier is Telenor.
I didnt check the firmware version before the upgrade , think it was the 7.5 refresh.
Battery life...hmm.. not sure. Maybe a bit better, but it varies from day to day, sometimes its at 10% in the evening, the next day it could be at 40%. Now its 8 hours since last charge, and its at 61% (14 hours left). So its having a good battery day to day. hehe.

2424.12.04.3 was the previous version. I have not installed it because it decreased battery life..
If you could report back your battery experience in a few days, it would be great.

you seem to be the only on who has got the new firmware. Have you heard anybody else get it?

Could post a pic of the about screen?

I got the update a few days ago.
I haven't noticed any changes.
Battery is the same - haven't had any issues with earlier updates either.
I'm in Denmark btw.
