Subscriptions for hardware is pure greed. I've got mice from more than a decade ago that still work just fine. There is no need for a mouse subscription for software. This is even worse than car companies thinking they can charge a fee to use the heated seats in your car. I understand a need for some subscriptions for security updates to software. This is an ongoing need with an ongoing service. For hardware, this is a terrible idea that just makes Logitec look bad. People will question their choices with the next purchase if this becomes a thing.
